Former Prisoner Allen"There are a lot of things that I was taught in class, that are very helpful in life today. I find myself checking in with my body for tension and unnecessary reactions on my part, also I have been meditating every now and then while I am in AA meetings which I do find it very relaxing and I'm more receptive to what's being said to me or the group. I also try to keep up with deep breaths even though I haven't been seriously pissed off at anyone. I try to keep in practice- I find this beneficial to my day. I have been told by quite a few people that they can see a major change in me as far as my outlook and attitude towards others. I'd just like to encourage you all to keep up with what's being taught or suggested in class because it does help." |
